Passend zum Frühlingsanfang blüht und duftet es in den Sammlungsräumen des Kunstpalastes: Düsseldorfer Florist*innen setzen sich mit der Sammlung des Hauses auseinander und schaffen florale Interpretationen passend zu den Räumen oder zu einzelnen Werken. Bei der Auswahl der Arbeiten sowie der Gestaltung ihres damit korrespondierenden Blumenarrangements haben sie freie Hand.

Vergleichbare Ausstellungen finden in den USA jährlich in mehreren Museen statt, darunter das Saint Louis Art Museum oder das Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. In Europa ist das Format beispielsweise im Aargauer Kunsthaus etabliert.
Das Ausstellungsformat findet nach dem großen Erfolg im Jahr 2024 bereits zum zweiten Mal statt.
