For the second time, floral masterpieces can be seen in all their splendour and only for a short time at the Kunstpalast: In keeping with the start of spring, Düsseldorf florists are interpreting the works of art in the collection tour with their floral arrangements and giving ranunculus, roses and delphiniums their grand entrance.

When would you like to visit the exhibition?

New visual axes and juxtapositions invite visitors to view nature in an unusual context and to take a surprisingly new look at art. 27 floral creations can be seen for a few days – due to the nature of the matter – alongside the objects exhibited in the tour and enable unique sensory impressions both visually and olfactorily.
Eight renowned florists responded to the Kunstpalast’s call to engage with the museum’s collection and create floral interpretations to match the rooms or individual works. They had a free hand in selecting the works and designing their corresponding floral arrangements.
Similar exhibitions are held annually in several museums in the USA, including the Saint Louis Art Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. In Europe, the format is established at the Aargauer Kunsthaus, for example.
The exhibition format is being held for the second time following its great success in 2024.
